Description
“Down with Landlords, redistribute their land” was raised by the Communist Party-led Red army during the Chinese civil war between the Chinese Nationalist Party and the Communist Party of China -led government of the Republic of China and the Communist Party of China (1927-1937). It was one of the main publicity slogans of the Red Army that shows their political views of abolishing feudal exploitation. By confiscating the land from landlords and redistributing to peasants, Communist party was able to establish base in rural areas in interior of Shaanxi, and recruit peasants to expand the Red Army.
